Improvement in thermal conductivity and mechanical properties for polyamide-6 composite including carbon fiber and alumina particle

In this study, we will report the efficiency of hybrid filler for mechanical properties and thermal conductivity Polyamide-6 (PA6) composite. One ways to improve composite is add fillers matrix, but excessive causes form aggregation void. They make decline. As solution problem, use expected realize lower content with keeping properties. However, most efficient ratio unclear. PA6 were composited using a twin-shaft melt-mixing machine. A manual injection molding machine was then used produce test specimens measurement tensile specimens. Thermal measured based on laser flash method. The structure also investigated by fracture surface observation after testing. It revealed that two types obtain higher than single same content. This because different shapes made thermally conductive path.
